Professional rainwater tank accessories benefit water quality within the rainwater harvesting storage tank.
The quality of harvested rainwater within the rainwater storage tank is determined by numerous factors such as the composition and material-nature of the roof as well as the functionality of the pre-tank filtration unit.
Also, the rainwater tank itself is of significance in order to maintain a high-quality standard of the harvested rainwater stored within the tank. Underground subsoil installation of the rainwater tank provides a stable temperature of approx. 8°C - 10°C throughout the year.
In conjunction with the WISY Coarse/Fine Floating Suction Filter connected to the submersible pump, the WISY Smoothing Inlet and WISY Multisiphon ensure only the best water quality is introduced to the rainwater harvesting network.
WISY Smoothing Inlet
The WISY Smoothing Inlet is manufactured in stainless-steel and is installed on the tank base at the end of the vertical inlet pipe from the rainwater filter. Preventing the resuspension of fine sediment on the base of the tank as water enters the storage chamber during precipitation, the WISY Smoothing Inlet functions as a calming inlet and distributes fresh, oxygen-enriched rainwater within the rainwater harvesting tank.
WISY Multisiphon
The WISY Multisiphon is a multi-functional overflow-device which is located within the rainwater tank and connected to the rainwater tank outlet. Due to the skimming-effect fine floating debris on the water surface is effectively removed when the tank reaches the maximum filling level of the rainwater tank. The continuous water barrier within the overflow-device seals against potential odours from the connected stormwater-drain or mixed municipal wastepipe. The WISY Multisiphon is also available with drain-backflow prevention and vermin-protection.
