URIMAT waterless urinals combine water saving, urinal cost-reduction and improved urinal- and washroom-hygiene in an elegant and modern design. With URIMAT facility operators benefit from reduced water and energy consumption, superior hygiene as well as lower urinal maintenance and operational costs.

Absolutely no water, oils or chemical additives are employed in the operation of URIMAT waterless urinals, using recyclable and environmentally-friendly materials!
Water, as the most important resource for life is unique and cannot be substituted. Drinking water therefore requires sustainable and diligent management.
The distribution of mains-water and treatment of sewage wastewater consumes energy. URIMAT waterless urinals significantly reduce overall facility water use and subsequent wastewater volume which contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions of 175 g for every cubic meter (1000 litres) of mains-water saved. Therefore, one URIMAT waterless urinal, saving up to 100,000 litres of water per year, equates to a reduction in CO²-emissions of 17.5 kg annually!

The materials used in URIMAT's recyclable polycarbonate urinal bowls is the highest sanitary polycarbonate standard available on the market. The production process for URIMAT polycarbonate waterless urinals in Switzerland uses 100% green-energy (80% Hydro-, 20% Wind-Energy) and is therefore CO2-neutral.

Modern high-tech polycarbonate urinal bowl Due to the isolating effect of the special sanitary polycarbonate material of the URIMAT eco waterless urinal deposits on the urinal surface are reduced. The pore-free surface prevents the formation of bacteria and odours. In addition, the polycarbonate material of the injection-moulded urinal bowl is break-resistant and a significant advantage in washroom installations where vandalism has to be considered. URIMAT Universal Trap The URIMAT Universal Trap is suitable for Armitage Shanks Aridian and Falcon waterless urinal bowls and is used instead of the Falcon waterless urinal cartridge. The URIMAT Universal Trap is also suitable for Sloan waterless urinals with an insert diameter of 118mm, enabling cost-efficient and hygienic waterless urinals operation with the benefits of a URIMAT waterless urinal. Align Urinal Operational Costs to Urinal Use The integrated (blue) MB-Active Cube of the URIMAT Universal Trap reduces organic deposits within the odour trap and wastepipe. It also serves as a lifecycle-indicator to allow changing of the trap according to individual urinal use. Beneath the partially transparent cover of the URIMAT Universal Trap the blue microbiological cube remains visible until fully depleted, signalling the required trap change. This allows the cleaning contractor or maintenance staff to continuously monitor the lifespan of the URIMAT Universal Trap and to ensure replacement traps are available in time for the designated change. While the newer Falcon Velocity Cartridge provides at least some indication when immediate renewal is required, it does not indicate remaining lifespan. The previous Legacy cartridge from Falcon as well as the Sloan waterless urinal cartridge provide no indication at all relating to lifespan. The slowly dissolving blue microbiological cube within the URIMAT Universal Trap is fully visible, serving as a lifecycle-indicator to enable usage-related trap changes and an improved maintenance planning schedule. In addition, the URIMAT Universal Trap can be inserted for low, medium and high-urinal use (URIMAT patented 3-way control). Vertical Membrane Technology The vertically sealing membrane within the URIMAT Universal Trap is pressure-resistant. The liquid odour barrier (sealant liquid) of the Falcon waterless urinal cartridge can be depleted due to varying pressure levels (e.g. vacuum) within the wastepipe network. This does not happen with the vertical membrane of the URIMAT Universal Trap. The liquid odour barrier (sealant liquid) of the Falcon cartridge may also require replenishment, when water is accidentally flushed down the waterless urinal. Should this occur with the URIMAT Universal Trap, the vertical membrane within the trap will continue to function and provide full protection against wastepipe odours. Easy Maintenance Changing the URIMAT Universal Trap is easier and quicker than replacing the Falcon waterless urinal cartridge; no sealant liquid required. Simply remove the used trap and rinse the wastepipe with a bucket of cold water before re-inserting the new trap!
